Just as they begin cutting back production for winter we have enough duck and chicken eggs to share with neighbors!
Sometimes you just need to step back and take in the little things. Even the kitten is color-coded to the season.
I managed to get out with the dogs for about an hour today. I wish there was a dog park in walking distance. I do wonder if Jack would get along with some if the community dogs, however.
We had a pretty good snow in West Virginia this weekend. Of course, it’s winter. I haven’t gone out much, but I did take a notion to get some photos of a bush I have that sets buds early. I can’t remember the name of the bush. We just call it “Stupid Bush” because it blooms in cold weather.
My youngest cat, Abey, enjoys the snow, in small doses. She is spoiled rotten, and can be quite vocal for a cat.
