BnBs for Vets

October 25, 2017

Holstein House is proud to report we are participating by providing a special promotion code that will give one free night to veterans or active duty military.

The B&Bs for Vets program started in 2008 after Kathleen Panek, co-owner of the Gillum House B&B and a handful of other innkeepers in West Virginia opened their doors to veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day. [Read more here.] We became aware of the program through a posting by a fellow bed and breakfast owner and immediately set up the code and contacted B&Bs for Vets to register.

According to the website information, international participation includes countries from the US, Canada, Mexico, Cosa Rica, France and Namibia, and Africa.

Holstein House has a deep love and connection to our veterans and military. Wayne’s father served in the Navy. Robin was an Army wife for 13 years, and one son is a disabled Army veteran. Robin’s Grandfather Everette served with the Marines during WWI, and his brother, Howard died in France that same time. Uncles and cousins served in WWII, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam.

Use the promo code VetsFree when you register directly. This is not an AirBnB offer.

America must never forget your sacrifices.
