Holstein House is now a retailer of Joy Organics Premium CBD line of THC-free products.
In 2017 the West Virginia Legislature passed legislation allowing for the growing of industrial hemp – a cousin to the famous mind altering marijuana plant. There have been some hiccups with the bill, and the banking industry wasn’t serving cultivators or retailers.
With the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill more and more people like me have become openly interested in **THC-free ***CBD products. I say “openly” because prior to this about the only way you could experiment with CBD was through shady, back-alley transactions. There was no way of knowing if you were getting the real thing or a bag of parsley.
The West Virginia Legislature passed legislation titled the “Industrial Hemp Development Act” which promote(s) the economy and agriculture by permitting the development of a regulated industrial hemp industry while maintaining strict control of marijuana.ARTICLE 12E. INDUSTRIAL HEMP DEVELOPMENT ACT.
These two pieces of legislation freed me up to research THC-free CBD products. How? Well, now businesses would be publicly promoting their products. This competition would help weed out the weak products and uplift the stronger products. By package design and product placement I could decide if I wanted to spend my money on a purchase. Honestly, most of them were unappealing.
In my next post I will share a little more about my decision to retail Joy Organic products.
Have you tried THC-free CBD products? What are your thoughts?
