We’ve been pretty quiet. There is a lot going on that keeps us from opening post-COVID.
I took my father to the ER a week ago, exposing me to possible COVID positive individuals. I decided not to take new guests for a couple weeks just in case. ERs are petri dishes of who-knows-what. You don’t know who is coming in, even with masks and all the cleaning it is just not worth the risk right now.
My husband was diagnosed with shingles. He would only be an issue to guests who have not had chickenpox or the vaccine. However, he isn’t feeling well and guests would likely stress him out and cause him additional discomfort.
And, Gracie continues to struggle. She isn’t eating. She is restless even with her medications. I just can’t add the stress of guests coming and going to her right now.
