The plan was to have a shiny new site up and functional by New Year’s Day 2020. You know, start the new decade out right with a fresh new look. But, nope. Not going to happen.
I was having some trouble making changes on my own back in September. I reached out to someone I know that could help. And, I’m glad because that particular issue was way above my pay grade. I got out of web design years ago and the technology has really changed.
In conversation I mentioned needing to update the entire site, and what the hosting company would charge for it. That same someone said he could do it, and knowing a little of his background I thought, shop local, right?
Well, there seems to be more than just one issue because it’s been over two months now and he still doesn’t have it up and running. Web design isn’t his primary job anymore. And he has a new family. The holidays. Stuff, thangs, and all, and all. And we’re five full days out from the New Year and I got nothing.
I want to start true direct booking for Holstein House. I want to start direct orders for the Joy Organics products. I want to build up the mobile Notary and Notary Signing Agent work and I need the booking and calendar to function. ::headdesk::
