ROBIN A HOLSTEIN
Robin began working full-time in 1987. Twenty years later, incorporating Robin’s Desktop, she took control of her career. Her clients include a business incubator; a consultant specializing in chemical, petrochemical, catalyst and materials; economic development corporations; an HVAC/Technical company; politicians; and others.
In 2017 she completed a series of training programs, becoming certified as a notary signing agent, and reverse mortgage signing professional and incorporated mobile Notary Public services.
As Robin grew her company, she worked as a columnist for the Kanawha Putnam Ad Mailer. She also started an upcyle business. Robin’s Upcycle converts things people think are waste or unusable into “new” and useful. Window panes become wonderful photo frames. Photo frames become chalkboards. Even broken coffee tables can have a new life and purpose. She wrote a monthly upcycle column for Two-Lane Livin’ for over two years.
Robin also shares her experiences with women across the country with personal and Web based presentations. Her book, Think Outside the Office, was written to help others understand the basics of being a virtual administrative service provider or virtual assistant.
She created Everyday Upcycle from ideas she published in her Two-Lane Livin’ columns. Robin wrote two Kindle books, 25 Favorite Home Cooked Recipes, and Nursery Rhymes My Grandma Told Me from her personal experiences.
