Have you ever tried to grow peas? I have a couple batches of plants started, some inside and some outside. 

The inside peas are about eight inches tall as I write. The outside peas have just broken ground. 

Peas are an annual vegetable, cool weather lover, and member of the pulse plants. Pea pods are often eaten in salads, or stir fry. 

The vining variety can get to seven feet tall. There is also a low growing variety. These are vining types.
