The Jersey Devil has become my favorite variety. Jersey Devil tomato is an indeterminate heirloom variety with elongated, pepper-like shape and vibrant red color. It produces large, meaty fruits that are ideal for making sauces and salsas, with a rich, sweet flavor and few seeds.
They are generally considered to have a lower sugar content compared to some other heirloom varieties, which can lead to a more balanced but less intense sweetness.
