Got my potatoes in yesterday. They need a little more soil. That’s on the to-do list for today. I’m using an empty poultry feed back to grow them in. I used a bag last year for sweet potatoes. It worked beautifully. #homesteading #garden #holsteinhouse #bnb #wv #usa
Seed starts
I managed to get several seeds started this morning. A few of each; echinacea, nasturtium, zinnias, winter savory, calendula, and chives. Still have some herbs to start. I’m using styrofoam egg carton tops underneath to keep any wetness from the countertop. For some of my seeds I used egg cartons to start them in. I’ll …
