I started the 2026 garden seeds upstairs in my kitchen area. Once I felt they were established I moved them to the basement. I have an area of the basement set aside with a grow light. I used some mylar to reflect light.
Below you see the seed starts in egg cartons, peat pots, and some plastic pots. I use clear covers off everything from take-out meals, to soft drinkcups to create mini-greenhouses and reduce effects of any drafts.
